Sustainability of independent writing on social issues has been becoming more and more difficult. Bharat Dogra, is an independent journalist who has continued such efforts for over 50 years, contributing over 12,000 articles, (also some short stories and poems) and about 400 books and booklets in English and Hindi. He has written consistently from perspective of peace, justice and environment protection. He has received several journalism awards, and has held several senior honorary positions of social service. In increasingly difficult conditions, he is supporting continuation of his writings with the following additional efforts.

  1. Press clipping service on various relevant issues. This is sent on monthly basis by speed post. The subscription rate depends on the number of subjects required to be covered. 12 newspapers in English and Hindi are consulted for this.
  2. Sale of our books in English and Hindi. Catalogue can be sent by us on demand or seen at website.
  3. By adding books for children, fiction, biographies etc.by other publishers to our own publications we have created sets of books and booklets of high social relevance which can be used to start a community library. A typical Hindi set includes around 100 books and booklets and costs INR 5500 while an English set of around 100 books and booklets costs INR 7500 (including postal expenses).
  4. Consultancy services for documenting good development work, its evaluation, adaption and translation of documents of high social relevance.
